Art in the Wilderness
On August 26th, we partnered with The Nature Conservancy of Canada for a fun collaborative event! Participants had the opportunity to try out an art activity of their choice with the help of talented community artists.
On July 23rd, we collaborated with the Community Art Group! We taught the community different forms of rock painting like dotting, paint pouring, marbling, freehand, and stenciling.
Milkweed for Monarchs - DIY Seed Bomb Workshop
On May 25th, we gathered at Halifax Common for Milkweeds for Monarchs, a DIY Seed Bomb Event! We collaborated Mersey Tobeatic Research Institute for an interactive event to help our pollinators! Supplies were provided and a speaker from MTRI spoke about milkweed, their butterfly protection program, and other conservation research.
Open City at The Trainyard General Store
On May 12th, we gathered at The Trainyard General Store with Halifax Henna and Lavender & Sage Co. for an afternoon of krafting, workshops and more!

Art on Argyle - yarn-bomb with kind krafts
On September 19th, we collaborated with PBJ Design to yarn-bomb the fence on Argyle Street to make it more welcoming and pedestrian friendly while supporting the businesses during the construction phase.
On May 26th 2017, we were invited to be a part of Luna Market; a night market focussing on holistic health and indie organizations/businesses! We had such a great time tabling alongside many unique vendors, and the night was filled with live music by talented, local musicians and delicious food!
CRAFTING FOR A CAUSE
On Thursday February 9th 2017, we held a workshop in partnership with the Keshen Goodman Public Library! The Youth helped us to make karma bracelets that we could sell at our future tablings!
DIY rekord bowl workshop!
On October 12th, 2016, kind krafts hosted a DIY rekord bowl workshop in Mississauga, Ontario! All of the proceeds will be donated towards our fall cause of mental health awareness!
Scrubadubdub DIY Natural Scrub making workshop!
On August 5th, 2016, kind krafts hosted a night of crafting to learn how to make your very own natural scrub at Blue Apples! 100% of the proceeds for this event were donated in support of the resistance of the Alton Gas project.
On March 22nd 2016 we celebrated Happy Day with Dalhousie's Student Health Promotion. We facilitated a bracelet making workshop and taught folks how to make our 'kind karma bracelet.' All of the bracelets made were donated to kind krafts for our tabling events.
On June 12th, we gathered at the Dalhousie Urban Garden to learn how to make seed paper with the community!
Krafty in the Woods Part 2!
On May 22nd, we partnered again with the folks from Trips by Transit for this fun afternoon of nature loving and crafting.
Greeting Card Drop-in at The Trainyard Store
On March 31st, we hosted a kind kard workshop at The Trainyard General Store. We had lots of fun with our community members making cards for every occasion!

On November 29th, 2017, we gathered at the World Tea House for an evening filled with music, art, poetry and more! We drank tea with friends while enjoying local talent!
Krafty Yardsale - a FUNdraiser for kind krafts!
On September 23rd, we hosted a yardsale in support of kind krafts, with the opportunity to craft at our crafting table!
BRINGING CAMP TO CAMPUS
On March 11th 2017, we teamed up with Dal after Dark and the Program Planning class to bring camp to campus! We spent the night participating in activities such as mug decorating, bracelet making, and singing campfire songs to live music!
On May 1st 2016, kind krafts, Evergreen, and 100in1DayHFX organized a city-wide clean-up and beautification event! Registered though CleanNS, over 40 community members came together, picked up litter, crafted, and had some great conversations about what a sustainable city should look like!
Pop-up Market: Refugees Belong
In December 2015, kind krafts hosted a card making workshop at the Pop-up Market at The Chameleon. This event welcomed the incoming Syrian Refugees by making handmade cards upon their arrival. Refugees belong is one of the organizations we partnered with for this event!
The Alton Gas Resistance Donation
In the summer of 2016, our focus was environmental sustainability and awareness. We partnered with the Ecology Action centre, and we donated the proceeds to the Sipeknekatik First Nations. They needed to purchase a boat with a motor for transportation needs required to accomplish their goals.

Garden Work Party!
On July 25th, we gathered at the Dartmouth North Community Food Centre! We took the bus there with Trips by Transit, and later helped with the garden, learned more about the farm, and made seed bombs!

On June 24th, we collaborated again with Trips by Transit. We gathered at Shubie Park where we created and painted postcards using nature as our inspiration!

On Saturday, November 18th along with Trips By Transit, we planned a adventure to Long Lake Provincial Park! We had a hike in the early afternoon, and later returned to kraft with nature!
